It got cold this weekend. Of course, what I'm really saying is that it got 'Florida cold', which means that we saw our coolest temperatures since April with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s. Gorgeous weather for us here in the Sunshine State.
But, we know that once we see cooler weather in our area, it means that many of you are facing actual cold temperatures. With that in mind, we want you to know that we are constantly monitoring the weather in all of our shipping areas. If a plant's destination is going to be consistently below freezing, then we will add a complimentary heat pack to the package. No need for you to add plant insurance or heat packs to your shopping cart at checkout time. We believe in getting your plants to you snuggly and warm.
If for some reason the weather in your area just looks crazy cold for an extended period of time (I'm looking at you Colorado and Minnesota), we may choose to hold your order until the temperatures warm back up. This is also at no charge, so feel free to place an order, even if your area is cold, and we'll make sure your plants are happy on their little tropical vacation down here while we wait for temperatures to warm back up.
Check out this week's Speckles, Splotches, and Spots restock. Plants go live at noon.
